World of tanks Update 9.6 premium medium tanks

   Aside of various other things that Wargaming introduces in patch 9.6 are the two new premium medium tanks French  AMX CDC and Japanese  STA-2 .

      

AMX CDC

     AMX CDC (Chasseur de Chars)  is a little bit controversial tank at least in my opinion . It has profile of heavy tank , armor of light tank and gun of tank destroyer .  It has 1400 hit points which is not too much for tier 8 compared to Panter in tier 7 with 1300 hp. Fully equipped its weights just slightly more than 34 tons. With its amazing 1200 horse power engine, which is more than any other medium tanks in the game, AMX can rapidly accelerate to its maximum top speed of 57km/h. Traverse speed of this tank is 40 deg per seconds  which is not bad but does not compete with some other mediums.  Armor is pretty bad for tier 8 medium however , with 30mm on the front 20 on the side and 20 on the rear for both turret and hull which makes it easy  prey even for the HE shells. Aside of it weak armor CDC have very powerful gun 90mm AC DCA 45 with 8.22 rounds per minute 212mm penetration for AP, 259mm for APCR, 45mm for HE with 240 average damage for AP and APCR  and 320 for HE shells.  Gun also respects with its accuracy only 0.34 dispersion at 100m and good aim time of 2.2 sec. Best suiting role for AMX CDC is for long to mid range support tank, on the first line of battle this tank will suffer greatly because of its armor and big profile.   
                                                                

                      

   STA-2 is completely  different from the STA-1 when we look on the model of the vehicles. STA-2 is a lot more taller and shorter than STA-1 and it look more like Type 61 in tier 9. Vehicle has 1420 hit points and weights exactly like AMX CDC 34.45 tons . It has 500hp engine which is 70hp less than the STA-1 but top speed and traverse speed is same on two vehicles  45km/h and 44deg/sec. In armor of two also have similarities and turret armors are exactly same 45 in front, 35 on sides and 25 on rear but turret of STA-2 is much shorter, hull armor is 70 in front ,60 on sides and 35 in rear. STA-2 gun is 90mm with rate of fire of 8.45 shells per minute bit with disappointing penetration of AP shells  of 185mm , 275mm on HEAT and 45mm on HE, average damage is 240 for AP, 240 for HEAT and 320 for HE. Aim time is good 2.2 sec but accuracy is bad  0.37 on 100 meters.
